Team Coaching
Inspired Teams
Most well performing teams rub along quite well together most of the time, but quite well doesn’t lead to high performance and quite well can deteriorate to not well at all as teams navigate through on-going periods of challenge and uncertainty. As the leader of a team perhaps there is something weighing a little heavy? What might you regret in two years’ time not having addressed today?
- Perhaps your team isn’t having the impact that your organisation needs?
- Does it have a reputation for delivering what matters?
- Is the team working on the right things together?
- Do team members compete more than they collaborate?
- Are tensions between team members lurking beneath the surface?
- How do you and your team get the best from each other?
Creating Impact
High performing teams know how to harness individual performance for collective impact.
Team coaching focuses on developing the collective potential of the team, its performance, interpersonal dynamics and its positioning and relationships with the broader organisation it serves.
As your team coach I work with you and your team to diagnose your starting position and then from there co-create your coaching journey forward. Each coaching process is unique. I support you and your team at every step along the way, building your capacity and confidence as you learn, adapt and enhance your performance together. Typically team coaching assignments run for 6-12 months as outlined in the team coaching process overview below. Team coaching combines coaching time for the team members together and apart.
“Having Helen on my Board was a joy. Her skills and huge experience helped her to make a great contribution to the Board, its culture, and to the culture of the hospital. She led a comprehensive programme of board development through a diagnostic approach and the design of an improvement framework which led to a CQC assessment of ‘good for well led in 2021’.
But she brought something even more valuable. Helen brought warmth, compassion and kindness into an environment which could, at times, feel quite harsh. You always knew that she cared genuinely, and in doing so, connected deeply with others and helped them to grow.”
